Proposal to enlarge the existing window. We would like to install a double sliding door in the back of our 50's vintage bungalow. This work will be overseen by A & J Windows and Doors who are extremely reputable and have been doing this for decades. The prep work will be done by a seasoned stone mason who has experience doing this. The existing brick has to be cut, and the lower basement window will be bricked in for greater structural integrity. A 78’ long 3’x3’ 1/4’angle steel will wedge between the bricks over which vertically placed bricks will reach the mudsill.
