Ghazaleh Avarzamani's Mashrabiya is a play on traditional Islamic window screens; people on the inside can see out but those on the outside cannot see in. It is supported by the City of Toronto Year of Public Art. The work will hang from the facade of the building with anchors above the window. The installer will ensure that the anchor points are as minimal as possible and will be filled in afterwards with a matching concrete.
