Proposal for a new underground connection to the PATH system under York St from the sub-basement level of the Royal York Hotel. The construction will be the first phase of a more extensive renovation within the Hotel which will provide a pedestrian link from the NW PATH to the existing PATH network at the east end of the Hotel at the Royal Bank Plaza. This will provide a weather-protected pathway from the west end of Union Station and Metrolink to the east PATH network.
