Revision 01 - 1)Contractor advised that the existing channels across the ceiling, are carrying channels for plaster ceiling and are not suitable for gypsum board installation. New 7/8" furring channels to be tied to bottom chord of joists.2)In lieu of application of intumescent coating on existing beams, Arcadis has proposed enclosing the beams in two layers of 5/8" type-x gypsum board, as per ULC NO. BXUV7 N501 (attached). This decision would help our client reduce the cost extensively.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Installation of fire-rated gypsum board ceiling and ceiling mounted light fixtures in the Apparatus Room of the Station. - Fire Hall Station #331
