This voluntary FAS upgrade is limited to the replacement of the control unit and annunciator for the existing fire alarm system without altering the existing wiring and existing outlet boxes. This permit has been issued based on item #3 of Bulletin 2006-004-BU/EL. Note: 1) The existing field devices incorporated in the fire alarm system shall be compatible with the new control unit in conformance with the CAN/ULC-S524. 2) No work to be completed to the elevator recall system.
