Occupant load of 868 Granville St (Commodore Ball Room) = Max 1078 persons Sch A, Arch B, Stru B & Sch D-1 are submitted. ******THIS PERMIT HAS BEEN ISSUED UNDER THE REQUIREMENTS OF VBBL 2014******** Building Review Branch Note: - The vertical distance from the lowest point of a canopy to the street surface shall be no less than 2.75 m as per VBBL Div C 1.8.8.3.(1). - Canopy drainage system should be connected to the building storm water system. Downpipes for canopies shall not encroach more than 75 mm in the street as per VBBL Div C 1.8.8.6. - All new exit signs shall comply with the new ISO exit signage requirements and all existing exit signs in public area shall be upgraded to ISO signage as per BULLETIN 2015-006-BU. - Due to reduction of front exit door width at 868 Granville St, the occupant load calculation has been provided by a code report. A permanent sign of the occupant load of 868 Granville St shall be posted in a conspicuous location.
