Certified Professional Program - Addition / Alteration - To construct a new two-storey horizontal addition (parking garage plus CRU on top) on the east side of this site and exterior and interior alterations to this existing 17 storey mixed use building: - renovation of the entire residential portion of this building and some improvements to existing CRU units (modifications to electrical ,plumbing services, HVAC services extension of sprinkler protection to one of the CRUs), - to sprinkler the entire building to NFPA 13, - to convert the existing penthouse suite into 3 units, - Part 11 level of upgrade - S3 ( the entire building will meet 50% of the current Code) , F2+ , A3 and E4 . Scope of work to include fire and life safety improvements to the existing commercial ground floor units and parkade such as extension of sprinklering and a new fire alarm devices, and conversion to electric heat from an old boiler. Note: The building is not required to be upgraded to comply with Subsection 3.2.6. (High Building Measures) but some features will be provided. Note: The parking garage is considered to be the first storey. 28-Oct-2022: Revision#1 Change in RPR responsible for Building Envelope discipline. This is a BP revision after DPMA - DP-2022-00305 Improvements to Ground Floor, commercial retail and restaurant façade renovation, ramp reconfiguration and corner landscape planter previously approved under DP-2018-00621, are now removed from scope and to remain as per existing building; Level 2 Green Roof ballast and planting changes.
