- Enquiry Centre - Addition / Alteration - Voluntary upgrade of the existing fire alarm system at the Children & Women’s Hospital main building. Replacement of 11 Fire phone handset (use same back-box and wire); 13 Speaker zone “EOL”; 11 Strobe zone “EOL”; 30 Remote displays at nurses station (use same back-box and wire); 5 Panel electronics only (zone module & power supply), use same back-box and reconnect. Also, to remove 4 (delete) Remote displays in Penthouses (remove back-box and wire to JB). There is an 18/5 cable that links the 5 fire alarm panels together. The current cable is shielded and will not work with the new panels. We will run new 18/5 unshielded cable to the new panels using the same existing conduit. This permit has been issued based on item #3 of Bulletin 2006-004-BU/EL.
