Description

Certified Professional Program - Addition / Alteration - To construct a major vertical addition adjacent to the existing 12-storey highrise YWCA hotel. The new addition will include 10 additional storeys that sit on top of the the existing roof over Level 1. The new addition will include 65 new hotel guest rooms, including 4 accessible sleeping rooms. The existing hotel will be altered to accommodate a corridor connection to the new addition on each floor level. The existing building will be upgraded in accordance with Part 11 for a major vertical addition, except non-structural elements will be upgraded to N3 rather than N4. Change of the mechanical engineer of record. Replacement Schedule B received from Raymond Cho, P.Eng and filed. Revision 1 :To replace existing cooling tower on the roof, to replace existing exterior windows on Level 1 and to alter the existing laundry room on Level 1.
