- Field Review - Addition / Alteration - 161 E Cordova St (rear) Interior alterations only to provide a new electrical room in this existing Artist Studio-Class 'A' tenant space at 161 E Cordova St at this existing "Heritage C" commercial building. New electrical room to incorporate automatic lighting shutoff (per 9.4.1.1 of ASHRAE 90.1-2010). Scope of work also includes the removal of the unauthorized wood stairs and mezzanine, construct new partition walls, new lighting, and electrical work. THIS WORK IS NEEDED FOR THE BC HYDRO "H" FRAME ELIMINATION PROJECT IN THE CHINATOWN AREA. ASHRAE Exempt: Tenant Equipment This unit is currently vacant and will require separate building permit for any tenant improvement work. OK for field review as per Howie Chow, August 9, 2017.
