- High Density Housing / Commercial - Temporary Building / Structure - To install a new *temporary above-ground single storey vehicle storage garage (F3 Occupancy) plus a new *temporary 2-storey fire hall dormatory building (C & D Occupancies) for 8 firefighters at the rear of this existing City of Vancouver-owned Firehall #17 site, including widening of an existing driveway entry from the street, plus installation of a new pad-mounted transformer adjacent to the exterior of the vehicle storage building. Jensen Hughes` March 23/17 Building Code Report states in Section 1.2 that "the fire hall will likely be on site for more than 12 months" and that a permit extension from the Chief Building Official will be applied for per VBBL Article 1.6.8.8. 2. Trailer to be sprinklered to NFPA-13. 3. Fire alarm required throughout trailer and truck shelter. Revision #1: Change in truck shelter manufacturer from Lindome structure (uninsulated prefabricated shelter with metal/fabric cladding) to Sprung Structure (insulated double membrane prefabricated shelter). The footprint of the truck shelter has generally stayed the same. The profile of the structure now has a peak rather than a dome which has increased the height ~2m. Shape and height change ok with Kaveh Imani.
