Description

High Density Housing / Commercial - New Building - New Construction of a one-storey Boat Maintenance Building. To construct a single storey building at the North/West waterfront corner of this site for boat repairs & maintenance, washroom facilities, office use for the RVYC on this site. The new building will be timber construction on a new concrete deck and new piles into the water bed. No drain tile is proposed because the building will be built over the water. Occupant Load proposed is 86 persons. The new portion of the wharf shall conform to NFPA 307 for standard for the construction and fire protection of piers and wharves. NOTE : If an archaeological site is encountered during construction, activities must be halted and the Archaeology Branch contacted at 250-953-3334 for direction. Revision # 1 - May 12, 2017 Additional Floor Area of 100 sq. ft. at the NE corner of this building, North, West and East elevations to replace some wood siding to metal panel siding. To delete two windows at south elevation, modification of north exit door and wall assemblies changes.
