Description

Field Review - Addition / Alteration - Change of use from one family dwelling to one family dwelling with secondary suite and interior alterations to provide structural support on the upper floor to renovate kitchen and exterior alterations to add one window on the east elevation and one window on the West elevation and addition of floor area by converting crawl space to floor area. Scope of work includes upgrade sprinklers in area of crawlspace addition to NFPA 13D Scope of work to include energy and building upgrades in accordance with Article 11.2.1.4 of the 2014 Vancouver Building By-law and as required by the District Building Inspector. This includes air sealing as recommended by a Certified Energy Advisor and upgrading of attic insulation to Minimum R40 not exceeding R43. OK for field review as per L Clarke, July 28, 2017 Schedule B (Structural / Geotech) submitted by Frank Mui, 778-838-3484 Energuide was not able to be provided prior to building permit submission as the building envelope was compromised at the time of the Energy Evaluation. Energy evaluation is to be completed at earliest opportunity and report must be presented to the inspector upon final inspection.
