Field Review - Addition / Alteration - Interior and exterior alterations to dig out crawl space and add approximately 384sf of floor space in the basement. Change of use from one family dwelling to one family dwelling with secondary suite. Exterior scope of work includes adding two windows on the East side of the basement. Scope of work to include energy upgrade in accordance with Article 11.2.1.4 of the 2014 Vancouver Building By-law. Building envelope air sealing is required. Note: 1) DBI to determine if underpinning is required, current drawings shows adequate depth of footing. 2) No strata-titling will be permitted. 3) This is a two-storey building pursuant to the Zoning and Development By-law. 4) An annual Vancouver Business License must be obtained prior to the rental of this approved one-family dwelling and/or secondary suite on this site. Okay to retain 67.87% of impermeability per T.Ng March 14/17 Okay for field review as per E.Kai March 14/17. Address note: Fix to Permit Work Description - Addresses to be: #1 - 2228 E 51st Av - north portion of cellar, 1st & 2nd storey (principal dwelling unit) #2 - 2228 E 51st Av - south portion of cellar (secondary suite) Address has been assigned per the approved plans as the access to the secondary suite is from the west side. This access must be provided & maintained at all times; the address must be posted to be easily visible from the street; AND posted by the suite entry in accordance with the Building By-law upon final inspection.
