Description

High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - Exterior and interior alterations and a change of major occupancy from a Wholesale Dealer- Class A (Group F2) to Metal Products Manufacturing- Class B (Group F1) in this existing 2 storey industrial building. Proposed work includes new roof top units and installation of regenerative thermal oxidizer in the existing parking area at the rear of the site thereby re-configuring the parking area. Cleared for DB per John Greer. Building Review Branch Notes: 1. Building to be sprinklered to NFPA-13. 2. New FAS proposed with the proposed sprinklering. 3. If offices on upper floor are to be separately leased in the future, they shall be separated from the remainder of the building, and a separate permit is required. Revision #1: Revise tall racking locations, remove sprinkler in electrical room and provide a 2-hour fire separation around it, remove small washroom under stairs, and build fire separation around entrance lobby/communication stairs removed from plans (to remain unchanged from the pre-existing condition).
