- Certified Professional Program - Addition / Alteration - This project involves the renovation of the existing Coast Plaza Hotel and Suites building located at 1763 Comox Street, which is part of the 1030 Denman Street complex. The scope of this project will be the conversion of hotel rooms to rental apartment suites on Levels 4 through 32, and the existing Convention Center and Fitness Room on Level 3 will be demolished and replaced with new hotel rooms in this 32-storey non-combustible existing building. Covenant requested by the P.Eng & CP for the purpose of Bulletin 2015-002-AD/EL. Section 219 Covenant must be executed and registered prior to the issuance of an occupancy permit. EP application number and non-conforming clearance in meters (not yet provided) are required to be included in the Covenant. Stage 1 - demolition - accepted Jan.12/18 Stage 2 - full construction - accepted Mar.1/18 Revision #1 - permit amendment (change struc eng) accepted Feb.15/19 Revision #2 - changes to levels B1, B2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 31, and 32, BC Hydro covenant no longer required - accepted Aug. 19/20
