Description

Field Review - Addition / Alteration - Interior alterations to provide racking for existing retail tenant in this existing commercial building. Storage arrangement limitation: Storage Arrangements for High Density Mobile Storage Systems and fixed shelving system in the non-sales areas (Ground floor and Mezzanine Level) to Table 13.2.1 of NFPA 13, 2013 for the protection of Class III and Class IV Commodities, and Group A Plastics. - 5 ft. (60 in.) rolling High Density Mobile Storage Systems with a maximum storage height of 5 ft. to top of storage for Class III and Class IV Commodities and Group A Plastics. - 6 ft. (72 in.) fixed shelving systems with a maximum storage height of 6 ft. to top of storage for Class III and Class IV Commodities and a maximum storage height of 5 ft. to top of storage Group A Plastics. - 18 in., 15 in., 12 in., and 30 in. deep shelves. - Perforated Shelves (at least 50% open). - Hanging Roads. - Whiteboards on sides of some shelving units. - Foot Stops on SMSm Manual Carriages. - All Uprights will be open. Protected to Ordinary Hazard Group 2 as outlined in Table 13.2.1 of NFPA 13, 2013 for the protection of Class III and Class IV Commodities, and Group A Plastics. Sprinkler heads within the storage areas are quick-response with a K-factor of K = 5.6, and a maximum sprinkler coverage area of 130 sq. ft. per sprinkler. Minimum of 18 in. to be maintained between top of storage and sprinkler deflector.
