- Field Review - Addition / Alteration - Exterior and interior alterations to convert the existing Character Merit, Multiple Conversion dwelling building (3 units) to a one family dwelling with secondary suite. Scope of exterior work include: removal the front balcony on the main floor, removal the work without permit enclosure at the rear of the main floor and retain porch, removal the fire escape on the second floor, replacement of all windows in existing openings. Scope of interior work include: replacement of all drywall and insulate the basement only. removal of load-bearing wall on the main floor, and removal of kitchen on the upper floor. REVISION #1 (R. Foster) issued April 9, 2021 for Exterior - add three new skylights and extend rear deck (15 sq. ft.) and add 42" glass guardrail; replace door/glazing and infill opening on Main floor, replace rear door with window on Lower floor; Interior - revise interior layout on the Lower (1st), Main (2nd) and Upper (3rd) floor. District Building Inspector to determine if a structural letter/detail is required for glass guardrail on rear porch/deck. Addressing notes: 1950 Adanac St- 1st & 2nd storeys (principal dwelling unit) 1948 Adanac St - basement (secondary suite) Addresses have been assigned per the approved plans. Access to the secondary suite is from the front. This access must be provided & maintained at all times. The building address must be posted to be visible from the street in accordance with the Building By-law. Note: - No strata-titling will be permitted. - This is a two-storey building pursuant to the Zoning and Development By-law. - An annual Vancouver Business License must be obtained prior to the rental of this approved one-family dwelling and/or secondary suite on this site. - Letters of assurance rcvd S Guerrero 604.902.1404 Okay for proposed exterior changes, new skylights and new vinyl windows per G.
