High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - 936 W 8th Ave - 2nd and 3rd Floor Interior alteration to add an accessible shower compartment on the 2nd floor in an existing washroom, and to provide an interconnecting door to the adjacent office space on the 3rd floor at 938 W 8th Ave. Previous interconnecting door to the adjacent office space on the 2nd floor was installed under BU459405 and BU459406. BRB Review Notes: - The sequence of operation for the 936 W 8th Ave and 938 W 8th Ave fire alarm system is outlined in the letter by AES Engineering, dated August 22, 2018 by P.Eng. N. Bains. - The legal agreements for providing convenience access between two buildings/properties have to be registered at the LTO prior to occupancy. - 936 & 938 W 8th Ave will be interconnected on the 2nd and 3rd floor therefore these sites will be cross-referenced. - Minor Renovation: Upgrade levels F1, S2, N1, A2, E2 required. E2: Lighting - Upgrade to incorporate Automatic Lighting Shutoff. - This permit has been reviewed under the 2014 Vancouver Building Bylaw (#10908).
