Occupant load of the Restaurant at 5737 Battison St = Max 86 persons as per DB-2016-02751 ******THIS PERMIT HAS BEEN ISSUED UNDER THE REQUIREMENTS OF VBBL 2014******** Building Review Branch Notes: - This work is considered Major Renovation as per Part 11. F2, S2, N3, A3, E4 upgrades shall be provided. The hardware on the existing exterior doors of the pub should not require tight grasping, or twisting of the wrist, as the only means of operation as per VBBL 3.3.13.10.(10)(c). - This existing building is a nonconforming combustible building. All new work shall be noncombustible and conform to VBBL 3.1.5. - Separate permit is required to provide tenant improvement in the shell pub space. The exits from 5757 Battison St (Shell Pub) must be upgraded in full compliance with VBBL 3.4.6 during the TI permit. - The existing wall between 5737 Battison St (Restaurant) and stairs to basement shall be 1h FRR and to be verified to District Building Inspector.
