Description

High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - Interior alterations and a change of use to alter existing Retail-Ltd Service Food establishment on level 16500 to a Neighbourhood Public House (Liquor Establishment Class 2 - Lounge) and expand the area of the proposed Neighbhourhood Public House into a portion of the adjacent Convention Centre on level 18000 as approved by Council, October 4, 2017 for a limited period of time expiring October , 2018 unless extended in writing by the Director of Planning. Interior Alterations to add an ancillary Neighbourhood Public House (Group A2) to the main level of the existing Vancouver Convention Center on the site. Proposed occupant load is 118(110 persons with 8 staff). Commercial Kitchen Notes: 1. As noted in the letter of operation from Vancouver Convention Centre (VCC) dated February 2, 2018 - cooking production (including any Class 1 cooking) will be done in [the] Main Kitchen (central commercial kitchen for the Vancouver Convention Centre) and transported in hot holding equipment to the LOCALE location. 2. Kitchen contains both Class 2 & 5 Cooking Operation. A. Class 2 Cooking (Steam and Heat Removal) - EVO Event Cooktop, Turbochef pizza oven, and ALTO Oven (Self-contained equipment): 1. Class 2 Cooking operation (Steam and Heat Removal). 2. Post a sign on the equipment, "Cooking causing grease-laden vapours is not allowed Exhaust system is designed for steam and heat removal only". B. Class 5 Cooking (No Hood): 1. Class 5 Cooking Operations (No Hood): 2. Appliances are less than or equal to 6 kW (Cooking procedures producing significant grease laden vapours, or significant heat or steam are not permitted with this equipment).
