- Field Review - Addition / Alteration - To change the use of the existing two-storey, sprinklered one-family dwelling to a one-family dwelling with secondary suite, and to provide exterior and interior alterations. Scope of work to the 1st floor includes legalization of the kitchen (installed previously without permit) in the south portion, removal of the unauthorized kitchen in the west side, installation of a new washer/dryer, and installation of a new bar sink on the east side. Exterior work includes removal of the unauthorized roof-deck cover at the rear of the building and removal of the unauthorized door on the west (side) elevation and restoration of the window in its place. Addressing notes: 1728 SE Marine Dr - Principal Dwelling (north side 1st floor, 2nd floor) 1730 SE Marine Dr - Secondary Suite (south side 1st floor) Addresses assigned per approved plans. Fire and Emergency street access to the secondary suite is from the east side. Street access must be provided and maintained at all times and the building addresses posted to be visible from the street in accordance with the Building By-law. NOTE: - DBI to confirm if value of work is acceptable. If value of work exceeds $5,000, an Energuide Report and Renovation Upgrade Proposal must be submitted. Additional permit fees will be applicable also. - No strata-titling will be permitted. - This is a two-storey building pursuant to the Zoning and Development By-law. - An annual Vancouver Business License must be obtained prior to the rental of this approved one-family dwelling and/or secondary suite on this site.
