High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - Interior alterations to provide tenant improvements for a new tenant "Tap & Barrel Brewhall Ltd." in this existing Neighbourhood Pub (Group A2) building on this site. Proposed alterations include replacement of existing kitchen equipment, new keg cooler, and coring of the existing slab to facilitate installation of new keg lines. Total occupant load = 310 persons (244 interior seats + 26 staff + 24 seats at North patio + 16 seats at South patio) 2. Proposed new keg lines will penetrate required fire separation- review record drawings and proposed fire stopping detail. Kitchen System Notes: 1. Existing cooking line-up under the existing hood to be modified (some existing equipment to remain and new some new equipment, some equipment to be relocated). 2. Existing commercial exhaust hood, duct, and fan; and, existing MUA Unit to remain (no work proposed on the existing commercial kitchen exhaust system, or MUA Unit dedicated to the commercial kitchen). 3. New wet chemical fire suppression system to be installed to coincide with new equipment layout. 4. Class 1 Cooking (Grease-Laden Vapours): a. Class 1 cooking operations (Grease-Laden Vapours). b. Commercial kitchen exhaust system to NFPA 96 (Type 1 hood).
