Certified Professional Program - New Building - To construct a new two storey commercial building (Group E retail ) as shell space for a future retail tenant. This is a CP Process Permit for the applicant, Emilia Mazzonna, CP (CFT Engineering Inc.) Stage 1: Excavation, foundation (slab on grade), & full structural up to the roof. (Aug. 7/19, B. Smith) Stage 2: Full Construction. (Oct. 23/19, B. Smith) Sprinkler Permit Notes (Also see File Notes Tab): 1. Sprinkler permit SP-2019-01788 originally submitted for base building permit BP-2018-05692. Tenant improvement for a single tenant applied for under BP-2019-04453. 2. Both BP's are being processed under the CP program. The CP for both permits is Emilia Mazzonna, P.Eng., CP (CFT Engineering Inc.). 3. The tenant improvement (TI) is for a single tenant that will be occupying the entire building. Because the TI is for a single tenant that will be occupying the entire building and the TI work supersedes the base building work, and the project is being processed under the CP process the sprinkler permit has been transferred to the related tenant improvement permit. 4. This is not standard protocol and is being undertaken as a one off to address the unique circumstances associated with this address. This will allow the project team to make a single sprinkler trade permit application instead of applying for individual sprinkler permits for the base building and a separate parallel sprinkler permit for the tenant improvement. 5.
