High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - Exterior and interior alterations to install a standby diesel generator on the 1st floor and fuel tanks at basement and 1st floor level of this existing municipally Designated Vancouver Heritage 'M' sewage pump station on this site . HERITAGE NOTES: The site at 111 Alexander Street is protected by heritage designation and therefore alteration requires a Heritage Alteration Permit issued with the approval of the Director of Planning. We support the attached stamped proposal and ask that you process it with the following wording included in the actual Development-Building Permit: “1)\tInstallation of a mechanical rooftop unit with a steel enclosure, coloured green to match colour of existing metal finishes on the building, and a decorative steel graphic motif (flying birds) to be placed on the enclosure, coloured black. 2) \tReplacement of a single glazed unit on the street elevation with a double etched metal door serving as an access panel. The alterations described under item no. 1 and no. 2 above, authorized by the Development-Building Permit Number DB-2019-00847, including conditions and plans forming part thereof, are approved under the Heritage By-law and this Development-Building Permit also constitutes a Heritage Alteration Permit.” Sprinkler commitment letter on file.
