High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - Elevator Upgrade - Interior alterations to provide elevator upgrades to four (4) elevators at the existing 18-storey hotel building on this site for CSA-B44-07 upgrade. Scope of work: - Install a number of new addressable smoke/heat detectors and connect all detectors to the existing fire alarm system. - Modify the fire alarm system to provide elevator recall function. - Replace elevator controllers, machines and operating fixtures. - Install luminaries and GFCI receptacles in the machine rooms and elevator pits. Fong - May 25, 2021 - reviewed during COVID-19 - Revised sequence of operation on Sheet E1 per CSA-B44 code; - Revised elevator group recall per CSA-B44 code to allow elevator lobby smoke detector triggers recall of elevator A, B & C on basement, ground & 2nd floor. Building Review Branch Notes: 1. Related Electrical Permit EP-2019-05816. 2. Fire Safety Plan and/or Operations Manual to be updated to show alterations.
