Letter of Assurance submitted by: B Al-Mahameed 604.589.5879 L2 - Lighting - Upgrade to incorporate Scheduled Shutoff (per 9.4.1.1.(i) of ASHRAE 90.1-2016)\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t OK for field review as per D. Honan on Dec 19/19 Permit Terms: 1. This kitchen is accepted as a Class 5 Cooking Operation (No Hood). Sign to be posted "Cooking causing grease-laden vapour is not allowed. Exhaust system is designed for steam and heat removal only." 2. Grease laden vapour shall not be generated in this tenant space. Note that if type of cooking changes and if complaints are received by the Health Department, such as mould from too much moisture, over-heating in the work environment, objectionable odour, or build up of grease or smoke residue, the owner or manager is responsible to make the required corrections, such as menu change or applying for a new building permit to comply with the appropriate Class of Cooking Operation. 3. Appliances are less than or equal to 6 kW (Cooking procedures producing significant grease laden vapour, or significant heat or steam are not permitted). 4. No more than 16 seats of any kind whether inside or outside are provided in the establishment. 5. Cafe and bunny lounge/retail to be operated by one tenant. NOTE: Building not sprinklered – No sprinkler inspection or permit required.
