- Enquiry Centre - New Building - To construct a detached 1 car garage($20,000.00) at the rear of this existing one-family dwelling site to provide 1 parking space having vehicular access from the rear lane. Note: -Roof drainage to 2'x 2'x 12' rock pit. -A survey may be required. Contact your District Building Inspector prior to locating formwork. The attic space (of accessory building) is not to be developed and/or used as habitable space at any time. Door when open and/or eaves or other appendages shall not project beyond any property line. Accessory buildings shall be located in the rear yard and may not occupy more than 80% of the width of the site. All debris shall be cleared and the site levelled to the satisfaction of the City Building Inspector. Work under this permit may not proceed beyond the excavation and construction of foundation forms until the permit been marked "plans accepted" and countersigned by the City Building Inspector on the "Building Permit Inspection Approval Record". It is the applicant's responsibility to contact the Inspector.
