Scope of work includes installation of a new fuel tank and new louvres exhausting to outside. OK for DB as per Laurel Clarke on Dec 19, 2019. The building at 355 Burrard Street is protected by heritage designation and therefore alteration to the exterior of the heritage building requires a Heritage Alteration Permit issued with the approval of the Director of Planning. We support the attached stamped proposal and ask that you process it with the following wording included in the actual Development-Building Permit: “1)\tinstallation of ductwork (louvres) in place of existing windows along the lowest level of the north wall as part of the partial conversion of the basement to a generator room. The alterations described under item no. 1 above, authorized by the Development-Building Permit Number DB-2020-00149, including conditions and plans forming part thereof, are approved under the Heritage By-law and this Development-Building Permit also constitutes a Heritage Alteration Permit.”
