Description

Field Review - Addition / Alteration - Interior and exterior alterations, and a change of use from an one family dwelling to an one family dwelling with secondary suite with two surface parking space provided with access from the lane. Exterior work includes new fire-rated glazing (two windows) on the west elevation and removing the interior stairs from the main to second floor (fill in stair opening). Scope of work to include energy upgrade in accordance with Article 11.2.1.4 of the 2014 Vancouver Building By-law. Building envelope air sealing is required. Address note: #1 - 406 E 17th Av - 1st storey (principal dwelling unit) #2 - 406 E 17th Av - 2nd storey (secondary suite) Address has been assigned per the approved plans as the access to the secondary suite is from the east side. This access must be provided & maintained at all times; the address must be posted to be easily visible from the street; AND posted by the suite entry in accordance with the Building By-law upon final inspection. Note: - No strata-titling will be permitted. - An annual Vancouver Business License must be obtained prior to the rental of this approved one-family dwelling and/or secondary suite on this site.
