Field Review - Addition / Alteration - Related to CF-2020-003204 To change the use of this existing two-storey with basement, one-family dwelling to a one-family dwelling with a secondary suite with 1 off-street parking spaces provided in the rear (in association with the LWH permit DB-2020-02511), having vehicular access off the South lane. **Note: DBI will need to confirm minimum 6'-6" ceiling height over 80% of the suite area and all exit routes at all times.** This permit is to validate work without permit. OK for Field Review per S.Yu on Sept 15, 2020 Scope of work includes: upgrading for suite as per IA-2020-00099. Schedule B (Structural) required by District Building Inspector to raise the central beam to fix the required headroom clearance and the ductwork clearance will also have to be fixed. REUP is not required Note: - No strata titling will be permitted. - 1 off-street parking spaces provided in the rear (in association with the LWH permit DB-2020-02511), having vehicular access off the South lane. - an annual Vancouver business license must be obtained prior to rental of either the principal dwelling unit or the secondary suite - Dedicated 3'0" wide firefighting access path with overhead clearance of 2 m to be maintained at all times - Smoke alarms to be installed in conformance with Vancouver Building By-law Subsections 3.2.4 and 9.10.19 - CO alarms to be installed in conformance with Vancouver Building By- law Subsections 6.2.4 and 9.32.4
