Field Review - Addition / Alteration - #70 - 800 Robson St Including the Letter of Operation dated July 2, 2020, from Jordan Humphries, Pace Group, to perform interior and exterior alterations and change of use from Public Authority use, similar to Gallery (A2) to Restaurant Class 1 in conjunction with Retail Store (rental) at unit #70 - 800 Robson St on the Ice Rink - Sunken Plaza level in this commercial building on this existing Robson Square Site. Exterior alterations to this existing Nationally and Municipally Designated Heritage building that is on the Vancouver Heritage Register (A) as noted: "1) replace storefront glazing and add two doors. Scope of work: - Remove plumbing fixtures, millwork, doors, finishes, interior walls, and glazing - Remove existing canopy framing and post, remove exiting guardrail, retain exiting awning framing and replace all gaskets and fastener, - New glazing, new security gate, partition walls, doors, accessible washroom, plumbing fixtures, electrical and sprinkler work. OK for field review as per Rob Rattray, October 30, 2019 The work has been designed to VBBL 2019. Note: 1. OK to process as DB for exterior alterations as per Hugh McLean 2. This building is sprinklered. 3. Storefront glazing is to remain clear and unobstructed. No translucent or opaque film, artwork, shelving, display case, curtains or similar elements are to be installed on or directly outside or inside of the approved glazing. Separate permit is required for all signage.
