High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - Interior alterations to provide improvements for new Restaurant Class 1 tenant (First TI) in this existing restaurant shell space in this existing six storey and roof deck mixed-use building. Scope of work includes adding vent cap on the existing venting on the roof. No exterior alterations proposed. Notes: 1. This application is reviewed under VBBL 2014. 2. Maximum allowable occupant load: 60 3. Any increase to the occupant load requires further review of the VBBL. (Increasing the occupant load to more than 60 will no longer qualify this tenant as a small suite and may require additional exits). 4. Separate permit is required if any exterior patio seats are proposed in the future. Mechanical Review Notes: 1. One Class 2 Cooking Operation (Steam and Heat Removal) for the Combi Oven, and one Class 5 Cooking Operation (No Hood) for the Rapid Oven. 2. Cooking procedures producing significant grease laden vapours, or significant heat or steam are not permitted by using the Rapid Oven. 3. Post a sign on the ventless hood above Combi Oven, "Cooking causing grease-laden vapours is not allowed Exhaust system is designed for steam and heat removal only". 4. No translucent or opaque film, artwork, posters, shelving, display case, curtains or similar elements are to be installed on or directly outside or inside of the approved glazing frontages and windows.
