- Enclose an existing pre-engineered metal building (Centrifuge Building), install a new sludge feed pump and grinder system on a metal platform adjacent to existing biosolids tank 9. Within the Centrifuge Building, remove and replace concrete to support new sludge dewatering centrifuge, install housekeeping pads for new polymer make down system, pumping skid and polymer aging tank. Remove and dispose of some existing equipment no longer required for operation within existing Polymer Building and Centrifuge Building. , Withikn the Centrifuge Building, install overhead conveyor system for sludge cake outloading to trucks. Install associated process piping to and within centrifuge building. (Feed piping to centrifuge building is mostly underground) Install centrate pipe from Centrifuge Building to existing biosolids tank 10, install snow and ice shield on existing biosolids tank 9. Aside from the sludge feed system and tank connections, all proposed work will be completed within existing building envelopes.
