Dhillion Board of Variance EXENTSION Approved - September 22nd, 2020 Appeal No. Z35350 – 2952 East 41st Avenue - Extension Approved An EXTENSION of the previous Board of Variance’s decision was granted and approved on September 22nd, 2020 and was ALLOWED, thereby granting relaxations relating to the Floor Space Ratio, Rear Yard, Building Depth and the External Design regulations of the RS-1 District Schedule to permit interior and exterior alterations for an extension of the rear sundeck and converting the existing open carport into a new attached one-car garage at this existing one-family dwelling with a proposed Secondary suite site, subject to the following conditions: (1) that the approved attached garage must remain as non-habitable area (non-living area) and shall never be converted into new habitable area (or living space) at anytime in the future; and (2) that the development shall otherwise comply with the requirements and regulations of the Zoning and Development By-law to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning. Additional note to the Appellants: The partial rear sundeck enclosure (Solarium) was NOT approved by the Board of Variance and must be REMOVED in accordance with the Board’s decision on September 06th, 2017.
