Field Review - Addition / Alteration - 1231 W 8th Ave - Interior alterations to renovate unit 1231 W 8th Ave on the second and third floors of this existing multiple dwelling building on this site. Exterior alterations are limited to replacing (1) north and (1) east facing windows and replacing of south patio door. Window and patio door to match existing (i.e. trim, colour and size) Scope of work includes: updating electrical and plumbing, removal of non-load bearing wall in the kitchen, removal of wood burning fireplace, altering the layout of the rooms and to validate removal of swing door on north elevation to sliding door. Schedule B (Structural) may be required by District Building Inspector to be determined on site. OK per R. Dinh, October 5, 2017 for swing door on north and south elevation to be sliding doors. Trim, colour, and size to match existing. OK for field review per W.Wong, September 6, 2017. Note: Energy trigger chosen; L2 - Lighting - Install energy efficient lighting fixtures (single occupied space area)
