Description

High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - Exterior and interior alterations to combine both retail units into a single retail suite for a new retail food tenant (KFC) in this single story commercial building. Scope of work includes installing new cooking equipment and their ventilation system, including 4 new roof top units. Note: 1- Class-1 Cooking operation 2- Exterior alterations for four (4) roof top units accepted by Hamed Ghasemi, May 31, 2021 3- Permit was issued during 2021 pandemic. Revision-1 December 24, 2021 1. To modify floor layout and removing a washroom 2. Install structural reinforcement to support RTUs on top of the roof. Revision 2 To replace site copy of the drawings Revision 3 1- To replace the entire roof, floor slab, and multiple interior doors. 2- All exterior 2x6 walls shall be renovated and receive insulation. Revision 4 September 12, 2023 Modifying drainage system and adding drainage sump. Revision 5 November 17, 2023 1- Relocation of the hot water tank from above the sink to the floor 2- Deletion of one of the a mop sinks 3- Components of roof assembly is revised 4- 6"x6" HSS columns are revised and replaced with 6"x6" wood posts 5- Wall sections are revised for the removal of the existing stucco 6- New plywood shearing is added on to the wall components of east, west, and south walls 7- New concrete foundation wall is placed to raise the walls below grade on the portions of east and south walls 8- Front and east elevations are revised to reflect the correct height of the existing glazing and to add new metal cladding
