Description

Field Review - Addition / Alteration - Block 51/61 Interior alterations related to voluntary replacement of three vertical hot water storage tanks Blocks 51 and 61 in this existing institutional building (Law Courts). Scope of work: replace three existing vertical domestic hot water storage tanks (one tank is heated by heating water for ice rink melting system and two tanks are heated by steam for building plumbing fixtures) with three new vertical electric domestic hot water storage tanks. new piping will be installed and connected back to existing systems. New concrete house keeping pad will be provided for each new tank. New electrical power for the new tanks will be fed from existing electrical panels. All redundant heating water piping and associated heating water pump will be removed. Existing steam preheat domestic cold water system and associated condensate drain systems will also be removed.
