- Field Review - Addition / Alteration - Case File CF-2019-014735 and Case File CF-2020-002628 - Exterior alterations, interior alterations and a change of use of the existing one family dwelling to one family dwelling with a secondary suite (ancillary Residential unit) on this inside with lane site as follows; 1st & 2nd level (Principal Dwelling unit) basement level (Secondary suite / crawlspace) Scope of work includes: Exterior - alterations to remove rear deck stairs, cut out foundation for suite entry, new retaining wall, new rear deck stair, stair and door for suite entry, door access to crawlspace and new 3' Fire and Emergency access path on east side. Interior - remove suite entry stair and interconnecting stair, convert part of crawlspace to storage, remove and replace bulkhead ducting to increase ceiling height, new doors, smoke alarms w/carbon monoxide detection, electrical and plumbing work, new paint and finishes throughout. OK For Field Review per A. Campbell - January 14, 2021. Notes: ~ No strata-titling will be permitted ~ Building Not Sprinklered – No sprinkler permit required. ~ 2 off-street parking spaces provided in detached garage having vehicular access off the rear lane. ~ An annual Vancouver Business License must be obtained prior to the rental of this approved one-family dwelling and/or secondary suite on this site. ~ Install interconnected, hardwired, 120 volt smoke alarms with battery back-up and silencing feature, in each sleeping unit and within 5m outside each sleeping unit on each storey as per Building bylaw 9.10.19. ~ Install carbon monoxide alarm as per Building Bylaw 9.32.4.2. and Bulletin 2007-007-BU/EL. ~ Upgrade work under Part 11 (based on value of work – energuide related Part 11.2.1.4.) ~ Ceiling height to be a min. 6ft 6" over 80% of the suite area and all exit routes ~ Dedicated 3'-0" wide firefighting access path with overhead clearance of 2m to be maintained at all times
