Note: 1- The original work of the project was for alterations to install a Class-1 mechanical exhaust system in compliance with NFPA 96, 2001 for this food manufacturing tenant. However, under this revision the exhaust ventilation system is modified to Class-2 for non grease cooking operation and for heat and steam removal. 2- A metal sign shall be securely mounted to the front of the type II hood indicating: “COOKING CAUSING GREASE-LADEN VAPOURS IS NOT ALLOWED. EXHAUST SYSTEM IS DESIGNED FOR STEAM AND HEAT REMOVAL ONLY.” 3- Out going Mechanical Engineer of the record was Ed Lee.
