Occupant load for this space is 69 people. The scope of work is classified as a minor renovation with applicable upgrades of F1, S2, N1, A2, and E2. To be reviewed under the 2019 VBBL. The building on the site is subject to a designation by-law. Alteration to the exterior of the heritage building requires a Heritage Alteration Permit issued with the approval of the Director of Planning. We support the attached stamped application and ask that you process it with the following wording included in the permit: “1)\tInterior and exterior alterations, including new skylights, and a change of use from Restaurant (A2) to Fitness Gym (A2) on the second floor of this existing two storey commercial building. The alterations described under item no. 1 above, authorized by the Combined Development and Building Permit Number DB-2021-01550, including conditions and plans forming part thereof, are approved under Heritage By-law 8770, and this Development Permit also constitutes a Heritage Alteration Permit.”
