Field Review - Addition / Alteration - Interior alterations for the installation of a "Sky Locker" System (storage Lockers) on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd levels in this existing 4 storey, Self-Storage Warehouse (F2) Building on this site. Scope of work includes: columns, bracing, security mesh, partitions, swing doors and deck for the construction of a total of 281 additional storage "Sky" lockers (height of 3'.10" or 4' / area between 16 sq. ft. and 60 sq. ft. / max load of 62.5 lbs. per 1 sq. ft.) above the existing storage lockers. Stair ladder to provide access to upper sky lockers. REVISION #1: change the swing doors to roll-up doors on all the proposed sky-lockers. DP not required - No increase in FSR per J. Greer, Nov 17, 2020. Notes: ~ Energy Upgrade: Exempt as per Project type. ~ Schedule B Architectural and Structural submitted by David Seberras, P. Eng. of Seberras Professional Services Ltd., Tel: 905 536-7144. ~ Sprinkler Comfort letter dated Jan 19, 2021, submitted by Steven Lee, P. Eng. of Northwest Sprinkler Company Ltd. ~ District Building Inspector (DBI) to confirm sprinkler coverage at the new skylockers. Sprinkler coverage shall meet the requirements of VBBL and NFPA 13. ~ Maintain minimum 18" clearance between top of storage and sprinkler deflector. ~ Maintain minimum clearance of 18" between top of partition and sprinkler deflector. ~ Provide wire mesh top on skylockers (see base building sprinkler permit SP-2018-02701 and January 19, 2021 letter from Steven Lee, P.Eng. of NWSC). ~ Separate sprinkler permit and documents required for alterations to the fire suppression system.
