Proposed scope of works: - Update exterior finishes on Podium level and on all elevations of the South tower; - Remove interconnecting stair within ground and second floor restaurant, thereby creating two separate restaurant shell spaces; - Remodel feature entry canopy over exterior exit stair and escalator; - Modify and replace glass canopies and remodel exterior wall of pool area along W. Georgia and Cambie Street; - Add skylight over pool area; - New kitchen exhaust shaft and rooftop venting for new shell restaurants; and - Enclose exit stair on Beatty Street. ******THIS PERMIT HAS BEEN ISSUED UNDER THE REQUIREMENTS OF VBBL 2019 AND REVIEWED DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC CRISIS. ******** Building Review Branch Notes: 1. Ok for BP only per A. Campbell on March 3, 2021. 2. Sch-A & D, Arch. B, Struct. B, Elec. B, Mech. B, Plumb. B & Fire Suppression B. are submitted. 3. Part 11 design upgrade levels Per Major Renovation: F2, S2, N3, A3 & E4. 4. Project areas & scopes of work within the restaurant shell spaces include all exterior alterations, kitchen exhaust & shafts, and removal of interconnecting stair between ground floor & 2nd floor restaurant, thereby creating two separate restaurant shell spaces. Separate TI permits are required for interior renovations in both restaurant shell spaces. Lighting energy upgrades within the restaurant suites may be deferred to TI permit stage. 5. Submitted K2 form is for the new pre-shafts, pre-shafts with ducts, wall exhaust termination, new roof penetration & rooftop equipment for the new shell restaurant on ground floor. Full mechanical review will be required at future TI permit stage. 6. Separate permit will be required for outdoor patio seating.
