Field Review - Addition / Alteration - 888 Cambie St Interior alterations to provide tenant improvements and a temporary change of use/change of major occupancy of the entire building (approx. 28,032 sq. ft.) from School (A2) to General Office (D) for a new temporary Office tenant approved for a period of 3 years from the date of Occupancy Permit issuance in this existing 3 storey, Heritage "C" commercial building on this site. Scope of work: alterations to remove flooring, walls, doors, glazing, millwork, finishes, bathroom counter and sinks on all levels, remove kitchen fixtures and millwork; install new carpet tiles, baseboard, LED exit signage, doors, bathroom sinks, low-flow fixtures and counters on all levels, new kitchen fixtures/millwork, paint and finishes throughout. REVISION #1: new suspended linear light fixtures, new power and network outlets, electrical panel relocation (panel A), new cable trays, emergency lighting and new exit signs, push to exit buttons indicated on plans. New Electrical Schedule B submitted by Rodrigue Rouhana, P.Eng. Increase in project value from $705,000.00 to $1,182,194.00 March 14, 2022 mlh The temporary Office use approval is subject to legal agreements being registered at the Land Titles office prior to issuance of the Occupancy permit. Law & Saul Schwebs, August 9, 2021 Notes: ~ Building Sprinklered – Building inspector to determine on site if a separate sprinkler permit is required. ~ 2nd & 3rd storey are interconnected by an existing interior stair approved in 1997. ~ Schedule B Architectural submitted by Paul Chiu, Architect AIBC of Urban Design Group Architects Ltd., Tel: 604-687-2334 Ext. 105 ~ Part 11 upgrades including Energy upgrade are not required for the temporary change of Major occupancy as per CBO, Saul Schwebs.
