Description

Field Review - Addition / Alteration - #103 Interior alterations for a new Beverage Products Manufacturing Class B at Unit 103-1305 Frances Street on the ground floor at this existing industrial building on site. Condition of Use: flammable and combustible liquids shall not exceed: i) 20,000L, where the suite separation has a 2 hour fire-resistance rating; or ii) 3,000L, where the suite separation has a 1 hour fire-resistance rating, as prescribe by the 2019 Vancouver Fire Bylaw under Subsection 4.2.9. Note: 1) Scope of work includes the removal of an unauthorized mezzanine; and Sprinkler work as identified in the Sprinkler Systems Requirement for the Proposed Storage Commodities and Configuration letter dated January 27, 2022, submitted by R.J.H. Pavey P. Eng of Cardinal Engineering Ltd. 2) Storage of flammables to be contained within the spill containment area as identified in the application drawings under Building Permit no. BP-2022-00894 and weight of (flammable) liquid to not exceed 5,218 lbs. 3) Okay for F2 Occupancy Classification per Sprinkler Systems Requirement for the Proposed Storage Commodities and Configuration letter dated January 27, 2022, submitted by R.J.H. Pavey P. Eng of Cardinal Engineering Ltd. 4) No tasting room or patio proposed. 5) No Brewing and or Distilling proposed at this site. Note to applicant: The services of a structural engineer may be required, based upon site inspection by the District Building Inspector. A Sprinkler permit may be required, as determined by the District Building Inspector.
