High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - Unit #330; Building Permit for DP-2021-00731 Interior and exterior alterations and Change of Major Occupancy from Vocational School (Unit #309; Group A2) of 195 sq. m. in area to General office (group D) by expanding the existing office in Unit #330 in to Unit #309 and to provide tenant improvement with teaching kitchen in this existing commercial building. Scope of work includes installation of a new cooling unit at the parkade on the third floor. Tenant: Ministry of Children and Family Development One Class 3 Cooking operation *REVIEWED UNDER THE VBBL 2019, WITH REDUCTION IN UPGRADE TRIGGERS AS PER BYLAW #13714 EFFECTIVE JAN 01, 2022* Building Review Branch Notes: - The toilets in universal washrooms shall have a securely attached tank top as per VBBL 3.8.3.13.(1)(d). - All transparent doors and windows shall be glazed with safety glass as per VBBL 3.3.1.19.(3). - Washroom capacity analysis is using the occupant load of max 165 persons and two washrooms in #305 under BP-2021-04235. Thus, this BP completion shall be on hold until BP-2021-04235 is complete. REVISION #1 (Jul 11, 2023): - Updated the emergency motor generator at the east loading bay as existing and took it out the scope of work because it is approved by BU459998.
