- Enquiry Centre - Addition / Alteration - Interior alterations to use two bedrooms on the west side of the second floor of this existing one family dwelling with secondary suite building for Bed and Breakfast accommodation. No work proposed. Note: 1) The operator of the Bed and Breakfast must reside within the dwelling unit. The operator is Galen Wiebe 2) Two (2) parking spaces are to be permanently maintained: one off-street parking space is to be maintained for the bed and breakfast accommodation and one off-street for the principal dwelling unit. 3) A maximum of two bedrooms accommodating a maximum of four bed and breakfast guests may be permitted. 4) The Bed and breakfast accommodation shall not be permitted coincidentally with the keeping of boarders and lodgers. 5) Smoke detectors to be maintained in good working order. 6) Night lights having a minimum of 1.5 watts, white light, are to be provided at the top and bottom landings of stairs leading to the dwelling unit exit. 7) An approved 2 ½ pound, multipurpose portable fire extinguisher is to be visibly mounted near the kitchen exit door, preferably the door leading directly outdoors. 8) An emergency instruction notice in case of fire is to be permanently mounted in the guest sleeping room and covered with transparent finish to prevent tampering. 9) This bed and breakfast must operate in compliance with the Bed and Breakfast Accommodation Guidelines dated October 25, 1988 and amended December 19, 1989. 10) A Vancouver Business Licence must be obtained prior to the rental of the Bed and Breakfast Accommodation(s).
