Field Review - Addition / Alteration - Exterior and Interior alterations and change of use of this existing two-storey one-family dwelling (with summer kitchen) to a one-family dwelling with a secondary suite, with 2 parking spaces in the attached garage having vehicular access off the rear lane Scope of work: - No work to be done on the main floor (upper floor) - Replace one window with a new sliding door to the rear yard - Remove the fireplace at the ground floor - Install new 3-piece bathroom with washer/dryer - Install a wooden landing outside the sliding door - Install new flooring and paint the interior walls - Install fire doors as shown on the plan - Install smoke alarms and CO detectors as shown on the plan Addressing Note: #1-2456 W 15th Av - One Family Dwelling (2nd floor, & east portion of 1st floor) #2-2456 W 15th Av - Secondary Suite (west portion of 1st floor) Address and suite numbers assigned as per approved plans for Fire and Emergency response. The address number is to be posted on the building to be visible from the street and the suite numbers are to be posted at the suite entries in accordance with the Building By-law prior to final inspection. Note: - No strata-titling will be permitted. - DBI to determine on-site whether Structural drawings and schedule B are required - No proposed work on the upper floor. This permit is for changing the single-family dwelling to a single-family dwelling with a secondary suite on the ground floor on this site.
