High Density Housing / Commercial - Addition / Alteration - Interior alterations: Interior alterations and to change the major occupancy from Retail (group E) into Restaurant Class -1 (group A2) in this existing mixed use building on this site. Related to DP-2021-00971 Building Review Branch Notes: 1) Total proposed Occupant load is 71 seats + 7 staffs = 78 Persons. 2) A permanent sign indicating the above proposed occupant load shall be posted in a conspicuous location near the suite's principal entrance. 3) Separate permit will be required for any changes to the interior seating. 4) Separate permit is required for outdoor patio seating. Additional washroom will be required if total interior and exterior occupant load exceed 100 persons. 5) Sprinkler commitment letters submitted by the Tenant and the Fire Protection Engineer to provide a sprinkler trade permit application within 60 days of the building permit issuance. Mechanical Review Notes: 1. Class 1 cooking operations (Grease-Laden Vapours). 2. Commercial kitchen exhaust systems to NFPA 96 (two Type 1 hoods). Revision No. 1 Feb. 7, 2023 issued. a) Washrooms and mop closet locations revised and all related plans updated as needed. b) Shifted some kitchen equipment in Dish [109]. c) Deleted one (K16) burner and shifted some equipment in Kitchen [105] incl. hand sink. d) Removed built in millwork counter in Bar [104] and shifted location of hand sink. e) Centered walk-in cooler doors thus adjusted shelving depths. f) Electrical drawings revised as per items a to e above. g) Mechanical drawings revised as per items a to e above. h) Mechanical revised HVAC ducting sizing at exterior louvres. Note: "This permit has been reviewed under the 2019 Vancouver Building By-law (#12511)."
