Field Review - Addition / Alteration - #102 - 1st floor Interior alterations to provide improvements to this existing dwelling unit (#102) on the 1st floor in this existing mixed use commercial and residential building on this site. Scope of work: open wall between kitchen and stairwell and add glass partition to lower level. Renovations to upper floor consists of removing pony wall in middle of stairs and add framed glass, remove and replace plumbing fixtures, reframe laundry and master bathroom, new flooring. REVISION #1: -- relocate the washer and dryer into the Master Ensuite -- remove the wall between the existing Master Ensuite and closets and raise the ceiling by 2 inches to maximize the ceiling height -- add a pocket door between the Master Ensuite and Master Bedroom -- create a 3-1/2" wall recess to widen the Hallway. LLL - Sept 1/23 E2- Lighting, installation of energy efficient lighting fixtures. Okay for Field Review by K. Vogt Energy checklist is currently no longer required with your Building Permit (BP) application. Some supporting documents are still required at BP stage, specifically Envelope and HVAC, if applicable. Service Water Heating and Lighting supporting documents, if applicable, must be submitted with your related trades permits (e.g. electrical and plumbing). All energy upgrades will be checked during inspections stage. It is the applicant’s responsibility to identify and note all required upgrades including energy upgrades on their BP drawings at BP stage.
